buff
Best thing I have seen in a long time : http://pinterest.com/pin/176907091582243769/I spent the day thinking about working out, putting running gear on the Christmas list and finding inspiration.I found a ton of great links to help me banish the baby weight and get in shape. It was mostly just comforting to remember that I am not the only one who feels the way I do. I have to remember that my biggest hurdle I will ever have is myself, and that I owe it to me to make time to work out and make good choices. And to my girls. They are the best inspiration of all.

I call mine the crocketeer
Well I have to say that so far I am impressed. Admittedly this is my first foray into Pinterest recipes but I liked the result. Here is the link for Crockpot Italian Chicken: http://pinterest.com/pin/176907091582238554/
A word to the wise - stir this. It burns. Other ideas, add mushrooms, maybe peas? I served this over wheat rotini with ceasar salad and pretzel rolls on the side. A big hit with the fam. Even hubs ate the leftovers today for lunch and he hates a repeat performance unless it's day old pizza. Another tip, 2 hrs on high then 2 hrs on low, and cut up your chicken at least 1 hr out and it will be so good. Really. On the easy scale I give this a 9. It would be a 10 but unless you use a liner you will be soaking the crockpot for cleanup. On the yum scale it was easily an 8. Nothing fancy, but good solid comfort food. This is a good dish if the baby has colic and you cannot put her down- EVER- as it can easily be assembled one handed and with minimal focus or attention to detail. Enjoy!
These are a few of my favorite things...
Oh Pinterest you crafty bitch. You suck me in with all your charming craft ideas and interesting Crockpot recipes. I have a toddler and an infant and as such have nothing but time strapped to the couch, nursing and surfing the web for the perfect duvet cover or clever paint scheme. And so Pinterest you have gotten under my skin. Therefore I have decided to blog about it. Because the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. I was thinking I would try out crafts and meals and decorating etc from Pinterest and then blog about the resulting successes and failures. You are welcome to join me on the ride. As I am craft impaired and challenged in the culinary department things can only get better right? Right?
